If you love going to the seashore, this place is perfect for you!
“Is arutas“, “S’archittu“,and the Sinis peninsula are some of them, but there are a lot of places to enjoy! Within a 30km radius of the farmhouse, it’s possible to visit about twenty different beaches.
Torre Grande
The marina of Torre Grande is located approximately 8 km from Oristano. The marina of Torre Grande owes its name to the Spanish tower built between the late 1500s and the early 1600s; it is the largest of Sardinia’s coastal defense towers. The tower, located halfway along the promenade, is now used for exhibitions and displays. The Eleonora d’Arborea seafront, over 1300 meters long, runs alongside the beach.
Sinis marine reserve
Una visita imperdibile è la penisola del Sinis The golden beaches of Sinis are embellished by the archaeological remains of the ancient city of Tharros and the Paleochristian church of San Giovanni.
S’Archittu
Special mention also deserves S’Archittu, a seaside location made famous by the limestone arch (hence the name) carved and shaped by the sea and the wind. This natural bridge connects the open sea with a small sandy cove. Its distance from the capital is just over 20 km.
Is Arutas
The beach of Is Arutas is composed of rounded grains of white quartzite; for this reason, it is also called the “rice beach.” On bright summer days, the almost blinding glare of the sand contrasts with the intense blue of the sky. The water is transparent and crystalline but slightly cooler compared to other beaches in the province. Near the beach, there is a large parking area (with fees during the summer), restrooms, and a bar.
